3800373 - Information in the production order is not displayed on the output item

Symptom

Some information in the production order, for example the WBS element, is correctly maintained in the production order. However, on the output item of the production order, there is no value for the field.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a production order for display.
  2. Go to the Assignment tab and verify that a WBS element is maintained.
  3. Display production order output item.
  4. Observe that the “WBS element” field on the printout is empty.

Cause

The WBS element is maintained in the production order after the initial output item is generated, so the printout reflects no WBS element value.

Resolution

Make sure the expected value is maintained properly in the production order at the time of the output item generation.
