3800434 - Customer Contract Form Template Passes Multiple Extension Field Values to Printer and Email, but Template Returns Only One Value

The system uses the extension field value in the Customer Contract Template for both Printer and Email output simultaneously; however, the system returns the value for only one output either Printer or Email.

1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
2. Navigate to the Contract view.
3. Search for the relevant contract, for example, Contract ABC.
4. Select the contract and choose Edit and View All.
5. Navigate to the Output History tab.
6. Observe the sequence E-mail and Printer and vice versa for the XML.
7. Observe the changes appearing in both XML document by taking values for either one of the sequence only.

As per the current design and technical limitations, it is not possible to pass extension field values to two output instances simultaneously.

With the current implementation, extension fields support only one output destination at a time either Email or Printer.

This is the current system behavior.
