3800752 - Duplicated entries in Table PLMK — Version and Validity Period Concept

Symptom

When browsing table PLMK (Inspection Plan Characteristics) via SE16 or SE16N, the user observes multiple/duplicated rows with the same MERKNR(Inspection Characteristic Number) or the same VERWMERKM (Master Inspection Characteristic). 

This leads to the assumption that duplicate or erroneous records exist in the database.
