3800790 - Error message "Condition record with same key is already being processed. See long text." occurs when trying to create multiple condition records with the same key fields - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When attempting to create multiple condition records with the same key fields for a condition type in the Set Tax Rates – Sales, Set Material Prices – Sales, or Set Service Prices – Sales app, the following error message is displayed:

• "Condition record with same key is already being processed. See long text."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app "Set Tax Rates-Sales" or "Set Material Prices-Sales" or "Set Service Prices-Sales".
2. Select target condition type.
3. Enter key combination.
4. Attempt to create multiple entries for the condition type with the same combination and press "enter", the warning "Condition record with same key is already being processed. See long text." appears.

It is not supported to create multiple condition records for the same key fields with different or overlapping validity periods in the app "Set Tax Rates-Sales" or "Set Material Prices-Sales" or "Set Service Prices-Sales".

• If the goal is to create multiple condition records sharing the same key but with different amounts across non-overlapping validity periods, it is recommended to use the Manage Prices – Sales app to create these records.
• If the goal is to create multiple condition records sharing the same key with different amounts and overlapping validity periods, it is not supported. Overlapping validity periods for records with the same key are not supported by the system.
