Symptom

  • The following stack is reported in the error log

stack overflow first chance handler for task 949711903 (spid 27950) at line 1572 in file /remote/pbi_archive17/bld/oneoff_bld_area/linuxamd64/ase160sp04plx_oneoff/SMP/porttree/svr/sql/generic/source/sequencer/setop.c, current top of stack: 0x7c815252b578. Cleanup will be attempted

  • There is no sqltext printed in error log
  • ASE has fix for CR 830956 which enables Vector Exception Handling in query processing
