Master data replication from an external system to SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 via standard integration fails. You observe the error "Save was rejected. Cannot save changes as the change project is not checked out in the system." in the inbound message log under Message Monitoring. The same master data object (for example, a Distribution Channel or Organizational Unit) can be created manually in Sales Cloud Version 2 without error. A valid, checked-out change project is visible in the UI, but the replication still fails.
