3801039 - Internal Error when opening custom task (ofb 2.0) by reporting manager – SAP Successfactors Onboarding

• Reporting manager receives the error message "Internal Error" when opening the custom task in OFB 2.0.
• The task page does not load for the reporting manager.
• The reporting manager cannot proceed with the custom task.

1. In Offboarding 2.0, Go go Offboarding Dashboard as assinee
2. Find the Offboardee and try to pick up the custom task.
3. Observe that the system displays "Internal Error" and the page does not load.

• Data issue in the custom task where the task responsible/assignee was recorded as "NO_MANAGER" (no reporting manager present at the time of task creation), which leads to an internal error when opening the task.

1. Go to Manage Data.
2. Search for the affected Offboarding custom task record (RM Clearance).
3. Open the record and choose Take Action.
4. Remove the Custom Task Responsible entry set to "NO_MANAGER".
5. Save the changes.
6. Ask the reporting manager to open the RM Clearance task again; the task should now load and be actionable.
