3801081 - Cannot Remove or Block Standard Item Category With Account Assignment Categories Q, F, U In PR/PO, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Request to remove or block combinations of Item Category = Standard with Account Assignment Categories Q (Project), F (Order), and U (Unknown) to avoid their use in Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Objective to prevent incorrect document creation and reduce unnecessary configuration options in the Manage Purchase Order app.
• No error messages are displayed.

1. Open the Manage Purchase Order app (or create a Purchase Requisition).
2. Create an item with Item Category = Standard.
3. Attempt to restrict or remove Account Assignment Categories Q, F, or U from being selectable.
4. Observe that the system still allows these combinations and provides no configuration option to delete or block them in the Public Cloud.

The combinations are SAP-delivered standard content protected in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition; there is no customer configuration to remove or block them in line with clean core policy.

1. Deletion or blocking of Standard Item Category + Account Assignment Categories (Q, F, U) is not supported; this is by design in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Communicate the product limitation to relevant users and avoid attempts to customize or delete these SAP-delivered combinations.
