Symptom
The mc_dispatcher_log table (and MC_LOGS) in an SAP Identity Management installation has accumulated a very large number of records over time. The standard housekeeping job "Dispatcher Log: clean up" is scheduled and running successfully, but the underlying stored procedure mcProcClearDispLog are limited to deleting a maximum of 1000 entries per execution. When the daily volume of log entries significantly exceeds this threshold, the housekeeping jobs cannot keep pace and the tables continue to grow.
