3801322 - How to define the values in the value help of the Location field in the asset master data

Symptom

When trying to select a predefined value from the value help of the Location field in the Manage Fixed Assets app, it was found to be blank.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Resolution

To maintain the asset location, use configuration activity “Define Location (102783)”.
