3801406 - In Audit Logs / SM04 SAP Web Dispatcher's IP appears instead of client's IP

Symptom

  • Security audit log records the SAP Web dispatcher IP instead of the real client IP when traffic is routed through the SAP Web Dispatcher.
  • Backend ICM traces (dev_icm) show that the request does not contain the x-forwarded-for and/or client/protocol headers.
