3801436 - Screen-set renders significantly narrower using the same CSS

Symptom

  • The screen-set render at expected width (~920–970px) in some cases but render much narrower (~634px) in a specific cases under identical desktop conditions.
  • The browser viewport and parent container are wide, yet the inner screen-set content is much narrower than expected.
  • No explicit inline width is set in the screen-set CSS for the narrower width value.
  • Hosted page does not change the behaviour.
  • No error messages are displayed.
