3801524 - time replication from employee central to s/4hana fails with hrtim00rec096 when it2002 crosses midnight sap s/4hana

Symptom

  • Time data replication from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP S/4HANA fails. The following error is displayed in the application log (transaction SLG1):

"Attendance/absence falls on the following day; date will be changed to ...

Message no. HRTIM00REC096"

  • The replication fails to complete for the affected employee. Absence or time records from Employee Central are not replicated to the SAP S/4HANA payroll system.
  • The error is caused by a conflicting infotype 2002 (Attendances) record in SAP S/4HANA that extends past midnight (end time at or beyond 24:00), overlapping with the date range of the incoming replicated time record.
  • The error may also appear when an existing IT2002 record in the target system uses the Previous Day Indicator, assigning the attendance to a different calendar day than the incoming replicated record.
