Symptom

When opening an opportunity, you get an error message: "Error during currency conversion from into for Default Exchange Rate Type at DD.MM.YYYY"

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center
  2. Go to the Opportunity view
  3. Open the Opportunity XYZ (XYZ stands for the Opportunity ID)
  4. Observe the error: "Error during currency conversion from into for Default Exchange Rate Type at DD.MM.YYYY"

Cause

Exchange rate was maintained after the price calculation was already performed.

Resolution

  1. Open the Opportunity
  2. Navigate to the Pricing tab of the opportunity
  3. Click Update Pricing -> Keep Manual Changes
