3801618 - OnChange business rule for a custom MDF object not triggering without CREATE/CORRECT permissions.

OnChange business rule not triggering unless the user has the CREATE/CORRECT permissions for the custom MDF object. 

SAP SuccessFactors HCM 

1. Login to SuccessFactors
2. Proxy as the affected user who only possesses the View Current | Insert permissions for the custom MDF object.
3. Go to the Employee Profile of the target user. 
4. Navigate to the custom MDF portlet in question and hit the "edit" icon. 
5. Observe that despite updating a field that is part of the rule's condition; the OnChange rule does not trigger and update the target field. 

Known Error.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on September 24th, 2026. 

As a workaround, assign the affected users the additional CREATE and CORRECT permissions for the impacted MDF object.
