Symptom
- The system combines multiple Stock Transport Order (STO) line items into a single outbound delivery when creating deliveries from the due list.
- The system combines multiple Purchase Order (PO) non-stock line items into a single outbound delivery when posting Goods Receipt (GR) for multiple lines together.
- Separate deliveries per line item in both scenarios is required.
- No error messages are displayed.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
1. Run the due list for deliveries (transaction VL10B) for an STO with multiple line items.
2. Post Goods Receipt for a PO with multiple non-stock items using the Post Goods Receipt for Purchase Order application.
Cause
The standard Field Logistics does not provide configuration or standard BAdIs to enforce a 1:1 delivery-to-item split for STOs created from the due list or for deliveries created during GR of multi-line non-stock POs.
Resolution
- Implement a custom development to achieve the required per-item delivery split behavior.
- Engage the project team or professional services to design and realize the custom logic according to the business process.
