3801640 - Expense Reports by Cost Object Does Not Display Project Assignment.

The Expense Reports by Cost Object report displays the expense amount assigned to a Cost Center, but does not display the expense amount assigned to a Project Task.

SAP Business ByDesign

1.Go to the Travel and Expense work center.
2.Search for the relevant Expense Report.
3.Open the expense report and review the Cost Assignment details.
4.The expense report contains cost assignments to different account assignment types, such as Project Task and Cost Center.

Then:

1.Go to the Travel and Expense work center.
2.Go to Reports.
3.Open the Expense Reports by Cost Object report.
4.Enter the relevant selection criteria.
5.Execute the report.

The amount assigned to the Cost Center is displayed in the report.
The amount assigned to the Project Task is not displayed in the report.

The Expense Reports by Cost Object report was viewed in the default By Cost Center view, which displays expense data grouped only by cost center. Therefore, Project Task details were not displayed in this view.

Navigate to Expense Reports by Cost Object and change the view from the top-left corner to By Project. This view displays the expense reports grouped by project, including the associated Project Task details.
