3801742 - Internal error generates when user deletes job information/ compensation information history record via job history

Symptom

When an admin deletes a Job Information/Compensation information history record, the record is successfully deleted but when any user deletes the Job Information/compensation history record, an "Internal error" occurs even if they have the necessary permission.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as a user.
  2. Open the target employee.
  3. Navigate to Job Information/ Compensation information.
  4. Select View All.
  5. Open the any history record.
  6. Attempt to delete the record.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The issue is a known error, and our Engineering team is actively working on a fix. The resolution is currently planned for the 2H 2026 release.

Temporary Workarounds:

  1. In the meantime, you may disable the Latest History UI option from the Configure Latest People Profile settings.
  2. Alternatively, you can perform the delete operation through the Admin Profile.
