Symptom

  • User wants to know which Joule use cases are supported in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
  • User is unsure whether a specific Onboarding task or workflow can be performed via Joule
  • Joule is not performing the expected Onboarding-related action and user wants to confirm if the use case is supported

Environment

Onboarding 2.0

Cause

  • Joule does not support all SAP SuccessFactors modules equally — only specific, predefined use cases are available per module 
  • Only 4 specific use cases are supported in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Resolution

 

The following use cases are currently supported:

  1. Complete Onboarding Tasks
  2. Assign a Buddy
  3. Assist New Hires
  4. View Offboarding Tasks

This functionality currently supports the use cases listed above. Any additional scenarios are not supported at this time.
