Symptom
The custom attribute types (e.g., a custom attribute type named "Readiness") mapped to a Job Role appear on the user's Growth Portfolio but are not reflected in or contributing to the Role Readiness % calculation displayed on the Latest Career Worksheet integrated within the Growth Portfolio.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development
- SAP SuccessFactors Career Worksheet
- SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Admin Center → Talent Intelligence Hub → Attribute Library and confirm a custom attribute type (e.g., type = "Readiness") has been created.
- Navigate to Families & Roles and confirm the custom attributes of the above type are mapped to a Job Role.
- Log in as an employee whose Job Role has the above custom attributes mapped.
- Navigate to the Growth Portfolio → Latest Career Worksheet.
- Observe that the custom attributes are visible on the Growth Portfolio under their respective custom attribute type section (pulled in via Role linkage — source: JDM).
- Observe the Readiness % displayed on the Latest Career Worksheet for the target/current role.
- Note that the Readiness % does not reflect or include the custom attribute type items — it is calculated only based on Competency and Skill type attributes mapped to the role.
Cause
This is a product limitation. Custom attribute types created in the Talent Intelligence Hub (TIH) are currently not supported in the Latest Career Worksheet. As a result, they are not factored into the Role Readiness % calculation.
The Readiness % on the Career Worksheet is calculated based only on the following supported attribute types:
- Competency
- Skill
Resolution
There is currently no workaround to include custom attribute types in the Readiness % calculation, this is currently a product limitation.
