• When running a productive (live) payroll via the payroll driver (RPCALC*0, e.g., RPCALCJ0 or country-specific equivalent such as PC00_M22_CALC_MNTH), the following messages appear in the payroll log: 

  "This is a live client."

  "No check performed against control record."

  "Payroll canceled."

• The "Ignore payroll control record" checkbox (technical field PA03_OFF / HRPAY99_SC_PA03_OFF) is missing or disabled on the payroll driver selection screen.
• Payroll simulation (test run) executes successfully without rejection. The issue only occurs in productive payroll runs.
• The error does not occur in systems running SAP ERP (ECC) or standard SAP HCM for S/4HANA (H4S4) without the compatibility pack.
