3801936 - DB6: DB2 library initialization error (db2app64.dll) on Windows

Symptom

  • SAP system can not start up.

  • Following error is found in SAP work process trace (dev_w*)

    ** ERROR => unable to load DB2 library '<drive>:\usr\sap\ABC\DVEBMGS00\exe\db6_clidriver\bin\db2app64.dll'.
    Reason: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. 

  • "R3trans" command works.
