3801961 - How to maintain production version in Planned Independent Requirement schedule lines in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition?

Symptom

You want to maintain Planned Independent Requirements (PIRs) for specific production versions. In the PIRs schedule lines, there is the production version (PVer) field. However, it is greyed-out in Change PIRs (MD62) app and cannot be edit.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Change PIRs app.
  2. Enter the PIR schedule lines screen.
  3. Observe the production version field is greyed-out.

Resolution

In Change PIRs app, activate the production version field via "Settings -> Production Version". Then the field will become editable.
