3802026 - EMOS warning message not appears when form is auto-saved

Symptom

When Enforce Maximum Overall Score is enabled in a Performance Form and the selected rating in form is not set according to the rules, with auto-save the rating gets corrected automatically, but no warning message appears about this. However, when the employee manually clicks on save or save and close buttons, warning message appears about the corrected rating.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management 2H 2026

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enable Enforce Maximum Overall Score in a Performance Form template and launch a form with this template
  2. Set a rating which is not correct according to EMOS rules
  3. Wait for the form to auto-save
  4. The rating gets corrected but no warning appears

Cause

This is expected system behavior with current system design. The EMOS warning only appears when manually saving a form.

Resolution

If you believe it should be considered for future releases, raise an enhancement request because these are actively monitored by the Product Team.
