3802101 - Extra OrderComponent created in target payload from message mapping when a source component node is missing, SAP Integration Suite

Symptom

  • An additional OrderComponent record is generated in the target payload.
  • Source component count and target component count do not match.
  • The behavior occurs only for a subset of data.
  • When the last item is removed from the source payload, the duplicate shifts to the new last item.
  • Success and failure payloads show no obvious structural difference on initial review.
  • Process orders are temporarily processed manually as a workaround.
