3802204 - Attachments for Enterprise Project approval not visible in My Inbox - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • Attachments added during Enterprise Project creation are not visible to approvers in the My Inbox app.
  • Approvers must open the Project Control – Enterprise Projects app to view the attachments.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an Enterprise Project and attach documents during project creation.
  2. Send the project for release to initiate the Enterprise Project approval workflow.
  3. As an approver, open the approval task in the My Inbox app.
  4. Observe that the project's attachments are not displayed in My Inbox.
  5. Open the Project Control – Enterprise Projects app to view the attachments.

Cause

  • Reviewing project attachments during Release of Enterprise Project approval task in My Inbox is currently not supported (Release 2608). 
  • Adding this functionality to the Enterprise Project - Status Change Approval workflow is not planned within SAP's standard for the foreseeable future. 

Resolution

Continue to review attachments in the Project Control – Enterprise Projects app.
