3802325 - Data product save unavailable when some added views show 0 elements after adding multiple artifacts - SAP Datasphere

• When adding many artifacts (views) to a data product, some views display “no elements/fields” or 0 elements in the View Elements list.
• If any view shows 0 elements, the data product cannot be created/saved and the draft must be discarded, even if it was never saved.
• Adding one view at a time is a workaround, but is clearly more time consuming

• Product: SAP Datasphere
• SAP Datasphere Data Marketplace

1. In SAP Datasphere, navigate to Data Products and start creating a new data product in a space.
2. In the Artifacts section, add multiple views at once using multiselect.
3. Open View Elements for the added views and review the elements/fields.
4. Observe that if any view lists 0 elements, the Save/Create action is unavailable and the draft must be discarded.

We are aware of the issue, and a fix is being developed. For now, please add one view at a time

1. The solution of this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates.
2. As a temporary workaround, add artifacts one at a time instead of using multiselect.
