3802358 - Value to be Invoiced is empty in Monitor Purchase Order Items

Symptom

In Monitor Purchase Order Items app the Value to be Invoiced is not displaying any value even though there is open values for the Purchase Order.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Monitor Purchase Order Items app.
  2. Search for the relevant purchase order.
  3. Add the Currency column.
  4. Observe that the Value to be Invoiced field remains empty even though open values exist.

Cause

By design, when a purchase order item uses a non-valuated goods receipt with GR-based invoice verification and the delivery is completed, the Value to be Invoiced field shows no amount, valuated goods receipts continue to display the amount even after delivery completion.

Resolution

Check the Purchase Order item settings:

  • Confirm whether Goods Receipt is non-valuated.
  • Confirm whether GR-Based Invoice Verification is active.
  • Check if the delivery is marked as completed.

If the item is non-valuated GR with GR-Based IV and delivery is completed, is expected system behavior and no value will be shown in Value to be Invoiced.

For non-valuated GR items:

  • Before the GR is posted, Value to be Invoiced will display the pending amount.
  • After delivery completion, the remaining amount will not be displayed in this field.
