Workforce Replication from EC to SAP Master Data Integration failing with "Elements of 'sap.odm.workforce.XYZ' are not allowed to overlap" (HTTP 400 Bad Request).

XYZ means an MDI entity. Search for it at Mapping Extension Field for Inbound and Outbound Workforce Integration and you will identify the corresponding SuccessFactors entity.

1. Go to Business Scenarios;
2. Run the "Workforce Replication from EC to SAP Master Data Integration" job;
3. See the logs and payloads;

MDI rejects the WorkforcePerson change payload due to overlapping records in XYZ, indicating a time-slice (start and end dates) overlap in the replicated person/employment data from SuccessFactors.

Identify the relevant employee and entity and engage the appropriate Employee Central team for correction of the database inconsistency (start and end dates overlap).
