3802401 - OAuth 2.0 Token Request Fails with "Client authentication failed / unauthorized_client" using OA2C_GENERIC_ACCESS

Symptom

When executing the report OA2C_GENERIC_ACCESS (via transaction SA38 or SE38) to test an OAuth 2.0 client configuration maintained in OA2C_CONFIG/SOAUTH2_CLIENT, the Access Token Request step fails with the following error returned from the token endpoint:

Client authentication failed (e.g., unknown client, no client authentication
included, ...)
unauthorized_client
