Symptom

The user needs to know the minimum and maximum supported memory size for an Apache Spark instance in SAP Datasphere File Spaces.

Resolution

  • The minimum supported instance size is 1632 GB of memory (408 vCPUs).
  • The maximum supported instance size is 8192 GB of memory (2048 vCPUs).
  • Configuring an instance below the minimum or above the maximum size is not supported.
