3802461 - String fields with numeric values is inserted with commas in workflow emails using Reference + Pending Data mapping

String fields configured in MDF objects and having a numeric value are inserted with comma when the field is mapped to a workflow notification using Reference + Pending data mapping.

SAP Successfactors Employee Central - Document Generation

1. Configure a custom MDF object with a string field and/or a user-type field, and attach a workflow and a custom email notification.
2. In Manage Document Template Mappings, map the email token for the field using “Reference + Pending Data”.
3. Enter a numeric-only value (for example, 12345) into the string field and submit the workflow to send the notification.
4. Observe that the workflow email formats the numeric-only string with a comma (for example, 12,345).
5. Note: When the same field is mapped using Direct mapping, the formatting issue does not occur.

A product defect caused string field values that contain only numeric characters, when mapped via “Reference + Pending Data”, to be formatted with commas.
