3802817 - ASCS profile import fails after applying SAP Note 2789094

Symptom

  • Transaction RZ10 → Utilities → Import Profiles → Of Active Servers or the manual ASCS import procedure from SAP Note 2789094 has been followed, but the import still fails with: "ASCS profile Could not be read. The import is therefore not possible."
  • The issue persists after restarting the SAP system and verifying that parameter changes are taking effect at OS level
  • Default and Instance profiles may show: "was not imported because it wasn't different from the previous version" (this is expected and not an error)
