3802842 - Incorrect scaling of IT2001-BWGRL when replicating EC custom field with currencies with more than 2 decimal places.

Symptom

  • A custom valuation basis amount from Employee Central (EC) Employee Time custom field replicates to Employee Central Payroll (ECP) field IT2001-BWGRL (Valuation Basis for Different Payment) with an incorrectly scaled-down value when the associated currency has more than 2 decimal places.
  • Example: a value of 12.1345 entered in EC with a 4-decimal currency is displayed as approximately 0.1213 in IT2001 (reduced by a factor of 100).
  • Two EC custom fields (amount and currency) are mapped via extensibility mapping (view V_HRSFEC_EXTMAP) to IT2001-BWGRL and IT2001-WAERS. No error message is raised during replication; the incorrect value is stored.
  • The issue does not occur for currencies with exactly 2 decimal places (e.g., EUR, USD).
