3802991 - Intermittent failure of Import Data jobs with "An error occurred in the data acquisition service" in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Intermittent failures occur when running Import Data connection jobs; the same import query sometimes succeeds and sometimes fails across multiple models.
• Error message: "An error occurred in the data acquisition service."
• When checking the network logs, the following errors can be seen:

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Import Data Connections (Acquiring Data) to SAP HANA system

1. Log on to the SAP Analytics Cloud tenant with a user authorized to run data imports.
2. Open an affected model and navigate to Data Management.
3. Start the import job using an Import Data connection to the data source.
4. Observe that the job intermittently succeeds or fails with the error "An error occurred in the data acquisition service."
