3803516 - Unable to Delete Attachments in Production Documents

In the Production Documents, there is no Delete option to remove the Attachments.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Go to Production Orders View.
3. Search for the relevant Production Order.
4. Choose Edit.
5. Go to Miscellaneous Tab and Open Attachments Sub Tab.
6. There is no Delete option or button to remove the Attachments.

• It is not possible to delete Attachments from Production Documents that have already been created.
• The attachments are automatically copied from the related Production Model when the Production Documents are created.
• This is expected system behavior.

Remove the attachments from the relevant Production Model from being included in newly created Production documents.

Steps to remove the attachments,

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Go to Production Models view.
3. Search for the relevant Production Model.
4. Choose Edit.
5. Under General tab, Go to Attachments Sub tab.
6. Select the Attachment.
7. Choose Delete.
8. Choose Save.
9. Choose Release Production Model and select For Planning and Execution.

Once the Attachment removed from the Production Model, it is not included in newly created Production Documents.
