3803716 - KKAO: WIP Calculation selects orders without postings in the target period and triggers KJ364

Symptom

When executing transaction KKAO (Calculate Work in Process – Collective Processing) with the WIP to Period set to a past period, production orders whose Basic Start Date and all actual postings fall in a subsequent period are still picked up by the selection.

  • Message KJ364 is raised: "Customizing for WIP calculation: maintain status DLV and TECO."
  • The affected orders carry active system statuses such as REL or PDLV — neither DLV nor TECO is set.
  • These orders are evaluated in the WIP run despite having no actual postings within the selected period.
