3803718 - Batch not updated in outbound delivery after TO confirmation when batch management was activated after sales order creation

Symptom

  • Batch is not updated in the outbound delivery item after Transfer Order (TO) confirmation.
  • The delivery is created with reference to a sales order that was created before batch management was activated for the material.
  • Post Goods Issue (PGI) is blocked due to missing batch in the delivery.
  • Error message on PGI: M7018 “Enter Batch”.
  • Batch is present on TO item but delivery field for batch remains blank.
