3803731 - Emails are not sent to Business Partner's contact persons when sending sales document output by email

Multiple email addresses are maintained in the "Output Parameter Determination" app for sales documents and the BAdI APOC_ADD_EMAIL_RECIPIENTS is correctly implemented for sending output by email to the contact persons of the sales document customer, as explained in the KBA 3396631 - How to set Multiple Email Addresses for Sales Documents in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition - SAP for Me. However, emails are not sent to any of the contact persons of the Business Partner of the sales document, when sending sales document output by email. The relationship between Business Partner and the contact persons is defined in the BP, and an email address is set on the contact person. Despite this, there is no email sent to any of the contact persons.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Follow the KBA 3396631 - How to set Multiple Email Addresses for Sales Documents in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition - SAP for Me and maintain multiple email addresses for sending sales document output email to customer's contact persons
2. Set an email address on the contact person in the "relationships" tab of the customer's master data.
3. Create a sales document under the same customer and send the output via email.
4. Observe that the contact person’s email is not determined as recipient.

The email address is not maintained in the contact person’s own Business Partner master data. It is maintained only in the relationship view of the customer's master data.

1. Open the "Manage Business Partner Master Data" app.
2. Open the contact person’s BP.
3. Go to Address > Communication.
4. Maintain the E-mail address of the contact person.
5. Create a new sales document and send the output by email. Verify that the contact person’s email addresses are determined (for example as To/CC) according to the BAdI logic.
