3803741 - Import Reported Data upload fails with HTTP 400 when Consolidation Version check uses blank value

Users cannot upload the investments template in the Import Reported Data app.

The upload fails with the message: "File import failed with status: 400".

No task log is generated.

The same file uploaded by a user with unrestricted authorizations completes successfully.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Data Monitor for the relevant consolidation group, version, chart of accounts, fiscal year, and period.
2. Open task 1020 and launch the Import Reported Data app.
3. Select the intended upload file and run it in Test Run mode.
4. Observe that the app returns "File import failed with status: 400" and no task log is generated.

The authorization check in Import Reported Data validates the Consolidation Version with a blank value. If the business role restriction for Consolidation Tasks (CCTT_RVRS_CCTI_DMEN_CNGR_BNIT) limits Consolidation Version to an explicit value list (without blank), the check fails.

1. In the affected business role, open the restriction type CCTT_RVRS_CCTI_DMEN_CNGR_BNIT (Consolidation Tasks).
2. Keep the existing entry that restricts Consolidation Version to the approved value list for regular processing.
3. Add a second authorization entry and set Access Category to Write (and Read, if required), leaving the Consolidation Version field blank in this entry.
4. Save the role and test the Import Reported Data upload again; the HTTP 400 error should no longer occur and a task log should be generated.
5. Verify authorizations: leaving Consolidation Version blank in this additional entry only covers the blank value used by the authorization check and does not grant unrestricted access to all versions.
