3803858 - Unable to update changeover year after creating new depreciation area

Symptom

  • New depreciation area was created, for example: due to legal requirement.
  • Depreciation calculated incorrectly for some assets because the changeover year was set to e.g., 2026 instead of 2025.
  • Attempting to update the changeover year to 2025 does not work.
  • Changing useful life does not automatically update the changeover year.
