3803988 - WOTC 8850 country code field displays Option ID instead of Country Code - Onboarding

1. In SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, the WOTC 8850 compliance form displays a numeric Option ID (e.g. 12345) in the telephone field instead of the expected country code value (e.g. +99).
2. The Country Code field in the Phone Information configuration is set as a Picklist.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Open the US WOTC 8850 compliance form in Onboarding.
2. In the telephone field, select country code +1 and enter the user's phone.
3. Submit and generate/print the WOTC 8850 form output.
4. Observe that the printed form shows "17965 9174980629" where the country code should display as "+1".

The Country Code field in the Phone Information configuration is set as a Picklist instead of the standard String type. When configured as a Picklist, the system retrieves the internal Option ID rather than the display value when populating the compliance form.

Per SAP documentation the country code field in Phone Information should be maintained as string, however, if changing the field type to string is not possible, use the FieldMetaOverrideConfiguration to instruct the system to read the  externalCode from the custom picklist instead of the default field behavior.
