Symptom
An employee applies for an advance, which appears in the Recurring Deductions portlet, but does not appear in the One-Time Payments portlet.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Submit an advance request for an employee
- Approve the request
- Observe that the recovery appears in Recurring Deductions and is not shown in One-Time Payments
Cause
Currently, employee Central Advances does not create a One-Time Payment record upon approval.
The process creates NonRecurringPayment and AdvancesAccumulation MDF objects. Also, if auto recovery is enabled, it creates RecurringDeduction or OneTimeDeduction records, depending on the number of installments.
Resolution
If the amount must appear in One-Time Payments, manually create a One-Time Payment record as an operational workaround.
If you would like to have this possibility added to the system, you can open an enhancement request following the article 2090228 - How to submit enhancement ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Product.
This way, other customers can vote and our Product Management Team can consider it for future updates.
