3804153 - Is it possible to populate the field "Tax Number 3" via API_SALES_ORDER_SRV?

Symptom

It is necessary to populate the field "Tax Number 3" via API Sales Order SRV, however the field is not available in the $metadata under A_SalesOrderPartnerAddressType.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Send a payload to the API_SALES_ORDER_SRV
  2. See that the field Tax Number 3 is not available to be used in the Partner Address meta data
  3. Try to populate the field by sending information to the to_Address payload section and receive the error message below:

Property 'TaxNumber3' is invalid

Cause

The field Tax Number 3 is not available to be populated via API, it can only be populated at Front End level (Create Sales Orders - VA01), this consists in a missing functionality

Resolution

The field Tax Number 3 is not available to be populated via API, it can only be populated at Front End level (Create Sales Orders - VA01)
