3804242 - It is not supported to configure Rank field as required when nominating

During succession nomination, Rank is not a required field.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

1. In Succession Org Chart, nominate a successor.
2. In the opened dialogue, notice that readiness field is required, while rank field is not.

Note

A ranking value isn't required, but successors who are ranked (with any value) are ordered ahead of successors who aren't ranked.
