3804262 - Default Account Assignments Not Proposed in Post Cash Journal Entries Business Transactions – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• In the Post Cash Journal Entries app, selecting a Business Transaction not proposes default account assignment values.
• Fields such as Cost Center, Functional Area, Controlling Area, Profit Center, and Segment stay blank and must be entered manually.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Post Cash Journal Entries app.
2. Create or edit an entry and select any Business Transaction.
3. Observe that default account assignment fields (for example, Cost Center, Functional Area, Controlling Area, Profit Center, Segment) are not automatically populated.

The app does not control these fields; default account assignment values are derived from cost center master data.

Please review the cost center master data to ensure required attributes are maintained: Profit Center, Functional Area, Controlling Area, and (if applicable) Segment.
