In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition starter system, only period-based depreciation is visible; no depreciation key or configuration for "Depreciation to the day" can be found.

1. In the starter system, navigate to Asset Accounting and search for depreciation keys supporting daily calculation.
2. Observe that only period-based depreciation is available and no depreciation key/configuration for “Depreciation to the day” is present.
