Symptom
- The configuration option "Enable New Reconciliation Model" is not available in SSCUI 101025 - Define Basic Settings.
- Observed via Manage Your Solution > Configuration > Define Basic Settings.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open Manage Your Solution.
- Navigate to Configuration.
- Open Define Basic Settings.
- Look for the setting "Enable New Reconciliation Model" and observe that it is not displayed.
Cause
- In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition release 2608, the New Reconciliation Model is mandatory and enabled by default. The former enablement switch was intentionally removed/hidden from the UI, so it no longer appears in Define Basic Settings.
Resolution
- Confirm the system is on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition release 2608 (or higher where this applies).
- Note that the New Reconciliation Model is already enabled by default in this release and the toggle is intentionally hidden.
