3804330 - HTTP 413 "Payload too large" when sending high‑volume promotion IDoc to OPPS – SAP Omnichannel Promotion Pricing

Symptom

  • When sending a high-volume promotion to SAP Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPPS) via Data Upload endpoint, the IDoc ends in error and the promotion is not transferred/updated.
  • The promotion uses a product group with a very large number of individually selected materials; a hierarchy cannot be used.
  • HTTP 413 response is observed with error message: "Payload is too large".
  • Logs show the request entity for the OPPS Data Upload service exceeds the allowed size.
