3804382 - Expected Behavior: Unable to change Data Source in existing workbooks

Symptom

It is currently not possible to change Data Source in existing SAC Excel Add-in workbooks.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office

Cause

This is expected behavior.
For more information on how source system replacement works, refer to the SAP Help documentation: Analyzing Data > Sign Out

Resolution

This behavior is expected and reflects the current product design.
You can also replace the current tenant to run a workbook on a new tenant. To make the workbook run properly after the replacement, make sure that all data sources and connections used in the workbook, are available on the new tenant.
